7 week ABC Safe Boating Course

Pompano Beach Sail & Power Squadron
Did you know if you were born on or after January 1st, 1988 you MUST take a Boating Education Class to Legally operate a motorboat 10 HP or more.
This 7 week course will teach you the ABC's of boating, including local knowledge. By enrolling in the America’s Boating Course, you will learn navigation, rules, water sports safety, docking, emergency situations, local knowledge and other valuable boater safety skills.
After completion you will earn your NASBLA & FL boating credentials and may qualify for discounts on your boat insurance.
This course is held at our boating clubhouse in Pompano Beach of US-1 and Sample.
Cost of the course is $85.00 +tax for Adults and $50.00 +tax for children 18 years old & under.
