America’s Boating Club of Pompano Beach is for all types of boaters – novice or experienced, Motor, Sail or Paddle boats. We bring boaters together to improve their skills, make connections, . Our boating courses and seminars are just the beginning – beyond the classroom a world of boating fun awaits!

Our team of NASBLA instructors has years of experience helping students prepare for all skills needed while on the water. We offer courses and seminars for all levels and specialties. The instructors provide individualized support and feedback to help students maximize their potential.

Join us at our monthly dinner meetings featuring distinguished guest speakers from our local boating industry! Every second Thursday of the month, starting sharp at 6:30 pm at our Pompano Beach Club House, Happy hour and hors d'oeuvre starts at 5:30 pm. Call or email us to RSVP. Did you know? Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, who operates a vessel powered by ten horsepower or more must pass an approved boater safety course.
What You'll Learn:

- - Docking: Learn the techniques and best practices for docking your vessel safely and confidently in various conditions.

GPS Marine Navigation and Planning. 8-week Course
Monday January 6th 7-9PM $105-$180
This hands-on course is designed for anyone eager to learn navigation skills and plotting
What You’ll Learn:

✔️ The fundamentals of GPS navigation and electronic systems.
✔️ Digital and traditional charting techniques, including compass use
✔️ Effective use of navigation aids and plotting tools.

Change of Watch Formal Dinner and Show Saturday, January 11th
